This is a question we have been asked a lot.

The simple answer is that both Jessie and Simon love Italy and love Florence in particular.

In 2003, we spent a month together in Florence and had a great time.

Who could not be enchanted with the magnificent Duomo?

This is just one example. This Statue of the Rape of the Sabines is in the Piazza Signora which used to be home to Michangelo's David.

As you may see from the  pictures, we had a fabulous time and fell in love with Florence.
